VT Industries, Inc. Celebrates Groundbreaking for Clarksville, Iowa Manufacturing Expansion

August 26, 2024 (Clarksville, Iowa)—VT Industries commemorated the expansion of their Clarksville, Iowa manufacturing facility with a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, August 26. This expansion, the second for the company this year, emphasizes VT’s commitment to the Clarksville community and its employees.

The expansion, slated for completion in early 2025, will add 37,500 square feet to the production footprint on the Clarksville campus. It will accommodate increased capacity for architectural wood door components, provide space for future opportunities, and improve efficiencies for the company’s existing manufacturing processes.

“We are excited to continue to invest in Clarksville. This facility and our dedicated team members are advancing innovation across the architectural wood door industry. The components produced in this facility include fire-resistant door cores, which are critical for life safety in commercial buildings including schools, hospitals, and hotels worldwide,” explains Aaron Clausen, Vice President of Operations for the Architectural Wood Door Division.
