- The high-traffic nature of the application called for doors that could withstand high levels of abuse.

Project Overview:
MGM Grand at Foxwoods, located in Ledyard, Connecticut, combines the excitement and glamour of a world-renowned resort with the scenic beauty of rural Connecticut. The facility features all the high-end amenities you’d expect, including 825 ultra-modern guest rooms complete with imported linens and feather-topped mattresses.
Building Challenge:
MGM Grand at Foxwoods warranted doors that would contribute to the luxurious vibe, while still providing the durability needed in the high-traffic guest rooms, meeting rooms, and office areas.
VT’s Contribution:
VT Industries manufactured over 4,600 flush wood veneer doors with reveals, utilizing quartered white maple veneers paired with a custom stain. VT also manufactured several oversized doors 4'- 8" x 8'-0" that were hung on-site with sliding door hardware.
